                         GOOD THINGS TO KNOW NOW!

The Fruits of the Harvest (FOTH), our silent, and not so silent, auction and themed dinner party has grown into St. Timothy's largest fund-raising event over the last 16 years.  Almost $411,000 has been donated to benefit over  22 beneficiaries.  FOTH is a parish-wide event which involves large numbers of volunteers who have a great time working together to do the work He has given us to do.

We need you all on the team to raise funds for Outreach ministries. Instead of 3 beneficiaries at FOTH, we are now going to benefit all 14 of the ministries that we are actively supporting.  The net proceeds from FOTH will be added to our budgeted yearly Outreach allocation of $25,000 (which does not stretch far with 14 ministries)  so that we can make a difference in the lives of these beneficiaries.

Your donations are what make this night a success.  Help our silent auction by soliciting or donating gift certificates from restaurants. Dinners hosted by parishioners, game tickets, special outings, and entertainment certificates are welcome.  Talk to us if you need ideas.

SPECIAL PREVIEW Auction Items:
- Original acrylic seascape "China Cove at Point Lobos", painted by our own parishioner, Dimitri Koovshinoff.  With over sixty years experience, he has exhibited in San Francisco, New York City, and Carmel and is the recipient of over 23 awards.  We will be exhibiting the painting for the next three Sundays at the FOTH bulletin board, starting April 13th.

- Dinner for 18 with Bishop Marc and Sheila Andrus  - The spacious Common House of Doyle Street Co-Housing in Emeryville is your venue for libations, a delightful vegetarian feast, music and conversation with our diocesan bishop, Marc Andrus, and his wife Dr. Sheila Andrus.  John and Julia McCray-Goldsmith (your intern deacon at St. Timothy's) will be your hosts.  Saturday, July 12, at 6 p.m. enjoy a taste of life in an intentional community in a vibrant urban neighborhood.

- Restaurant Event:  70 of us will take over Amber Bistro in Danville on August 17th for a night of fun and festivities.  We'll have dinner, wine, and live music.

We have vacation homes, game tickets, sailing trips, homemade items and more.

Dinner for our Team Spirit event will be tailgate fare: ballpark appetizers; and BBQ marinated Tri Tip and moist, Lemon Rosemary Chicken Sandwiches with gourmet sides and vegan options will be waiting for you at the seventh inning stretch.  For dessert, we will have delicious cupcakes made by Katie Potts.  Food Captain:  Tania Hanson De Young.

Bulk Packages of drink and raffle tickets will be available at registration that night: 15 raffle tickets for $10 - 10 drink tickets for $10.
Charge your entry into the Heads or Tails Game for $25 to play for a chance to win a $500 gift card; and charge your entry into the Wall of Wine event.  If you run out of tickets and just want one more drink, you can now use cash at the bar.

Set up of event on May 2nd and 3rd:  Please come at 9:30 a.m.  We'll feed you lunch.  There are many jobs, large and small.  We'll have you home on Saturday by 1 p.m., so you can get ready to come back for the party.

Scrimmage Team Clean Up
-
May 3rd, after the event, we'll need your help to get the parish hall ready for Sunday.  On Sunday we'll need a fresh team to finish.   Your team will be tired after the big game.

Visit the crazy cheerleaders at the Fundraiser Bulletin Board out front or in the parish hall after all three services.  Sign up there to donate items and give your much needed support to the team.  This is a great way for newcomers to get involved and meet people.

                     SHOW YOUR TEAM SPIRIT!!!
